New Interstate 81 Highway Interchange to Northeast Fair
Here is something very important you should know about the Northeast Fair. In the very near future the Northeast Fair will become one of the most accessible fairs in America. The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation will soon begin construction on a new Interstate 81 interchange for the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport and the Grimes Industrial Park, together with constructing a new access road connecting the entrance of the airport to the industrial park. The new interchange and the airport access road will both exit within several hundred feet of the Northeast Fair entrance.
Pennsylvania's largest firefighter sponsored event, the NORTHEAST FAIR, is now a Pennsylvania State Agricultural Fair. New fair grounds are centrally located in the heart of Northeastern Pennsylvania, equidistant between the cities of Wilkes-Barre and Scranton, just off Interstate 81 and Interstate 476, adjacent to the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport. The Northeast Fair is a growing family oriented event where parents have just as much fun as their children, and continues to involve more community organizations. Guests enjoy well manicured and colorful grounds, all asphalt paved extra-wide midways, plenty of seating, clean comfortable restroom facilities, free parking for thousands of cars, a tremendous amount of family and musical entertainment, and of course, lots & lots of delicious food!
